Amendment to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations (OHSR)
On January 3, 2019, amendments to the OHSR came into force regarding the prevention of falls from height. As part of the amendment to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Chapter S-2.1, s. 223), the configuration of VSS SafetyLine, the warning line systems from Delta Prevention manufacturer, was adapted. Here are the new regulations:
Warning Line: What Standards to Comply with?
Even if the preferred collective protection method against falls is the guardrail, the warning line can be used for certain specific jobs. To effectively prevent the risk of falling from a roof during certain jobs, a permanent warning line is – indeed – the ideal element. Easy to install, it lets you mark off a safety perimeter on any type of roof.
