MSK Canada’s history is one of vision and determination. Founded in the family home, the company quickly relocated to Richelieu before establishing itself in Chambly in 1996, where it launched the modular cabinet and storage toolbox brand Royal, later rebranded as Metalia. With its innovative design and unique industry-leading features, Metalia became a benchmark in the sector.

Over the years, MSK Canada has continued to evolve. In 2010, Kevin Key, the founder’s son, joined the company, holding various strategic positions and gaining in-depth knowledge of the organization. In 2015, the Key family's entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Delta Prevention, a manufacturer of innovative fall protection systems. Initially intended as a supplier for MSK Canada, Delta Prevention quickly gained momentum and became a leader in the Canadian fall protection industry.

A Strategic Shift Toward Automation

In 2019, MSK Canada took a major step forward by integrating its first ICAM vertical lift module (VLM). This technology optimizes floor space and significantly increases productivity, perfectly aligning with the company’s mission.

In 2021, Kevin Key succeeded his father as president of MSK Canada, ushering in a new era for the organization. That same year, the company was honoured with a mention at the prestigious Prix Performance Québec, recognizing its operational excellence and commitment to innovation.

A Promising Future

To support the growing demand for automation, MSK Canada established a specialized technology team in 2022, further strengthening its position as a leader in automated storage solutions. In 2023, the company modernized its brand image and moved into new, state-of-the-art facilities in Brossard, reflecting its dynamism and forward-thinking approach.

As it celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2025, MSK Canada is reaching a new milestone by becoming the exclusive Canadian distributor of ICAM vertical lift modules. This achievement underscores the company’s vision and commitment to tackling modern storage challenges.
