How to calculate uniformly distributed load.
 
Since a loaded pallet has multiple transfer points, it will uniformly distribute its load to the deck.
 
1,000 lbs material on a 3ft x 3ft pallet = 111 PSF - Load is OK 
 
2,000 lbs material on a 3ft x 3ft pallet = 225 PSF - Load is NOT OKAY
