WAREHOUSE STORAGE SYSTEM DESIGN

- Design based on your warehouse’s flow of operations
- Multiple scenarios analyzed
- Consideration of many factors and your business needs
- Presentation and review phases
What is the storage system design process?
Following the storage requirement analysis, we will start the design of the warehouse storage system specific to your situation. Each design is based on a thorough examination that will aim to optimize the flow of operations in your warehouse. Each area of operations will be analyzed for improvement. The design of the technical drawings can then begin.

What factors are considered in the warehouse storage system design?
Before drawing the first line, we consider several factors to ensure that the design meets your business needs in every respect:
- Storage concept required: first in/first out (FIFO) or last-in/first out (LIFO)?
- What is the velocity of your products? Where is your order desk or starting point for your parts clerks?
- What are the characteristics of your packaging? quality and uniformity
The design is based on the CAD drawings of your building (if available) or on the surveys made during the analysis visit. It will be important to determine, among other things: the location of columns and doors, the height of air conditioning and sprinkler systems.
What are the deliverables of the warehouse storage system design?
Once the warehouse storage system design is completed, a first version will be presented to you. Your input will be required at this stage to ensure that the design of the system matches your needs perfectly. If necessary, a 3D rendering could be created to facilitate the understanding of the proposed solution. After a series of review phases, the final design will be confirmed and approved.
