What are the steps of a warehouse storage system installation?

By working with MSK Canada, you are accompanied throughout the project. Here is a summary of the different phases of the installation of a warehouse storage system:

Approval and schedule

Once the design of the storage system is approved, the project will be transferred to the project coordinator who will be in charge of the project until the end. An installation schedule can then be confirmed. This will position in time the order and reception of the equipment, the start and the estimated end of the installation work. This schedule will then be updated throughout the project.

Pre-installation visit

As the installation date approaches, a pre-installation site visit will be scheduled. During this visit, the project manager and the installation manager (if necessary) can verify the various constraints that could influence the installation. For example, the location of ventilation and sprinkler systems, floor drains and slopes, and electrical access. Access to the site as well as the availability of lifting equipment will also be confirmed. Does your company have specific internal security standards or criteria? We will verify with you to ensure that our teams comply with your standards. See our certifications here.

Installation

Our trained and certified installation team will be led by an installation manager who will work with you and your project coordinator. Your collaboration will be essential throughout the process. At the end of the installation, the site will be left clean and ready to be used.

Project Delivery

At the end of the installation, the necessary information will be sent to you so that you can operate your warehouse with peace of mind. We will explain the storage capacities for each system as well as the best practices for safe usage. If specific training is required, for example for automated storage systems, it will be carried out according to the availability of your teams.
