Vidir wire carousels offer a semi-automatic storage system designed to fully utilize airspace to store wire coils, cables or any other product on a wire. The operator has immediate access to the inventory at an ergonomic height thus increasing safety and productivity. The wire carousel optionally offers an integrated system for cutting, measuring and rewinding for unmatched control of your coiled wire. Why choose a wire carousel?
A vertical wire carousel is a type of storage system for long materials, such as pipes, cables, and ropes. The wire carousel offers a concept where spools are not left on the floor or on a shelf, but rather kept upright and ready to use.

Best use of available space
The vertical wire carousel takes up little space, as the wires are stacked one above the other, utilizing the height of the building. This makes it possible to optimize the use of the space available in the warehouse or the factory to transform it into more warehousing space or production space.
Easy access to products
The spools are placed on revolving carriers which can be organized by the type of product or to group complementary products. Spinner spools are also available for smaller spools. The worker then “calls” the correct carrier in front of him to allow easy access to the various spools. This facilitates the selection, picking and reception of products. The measuring and cutting positions are therefore always ergonomic.
High capacity
The vertical spool carousel can hold large quantities of spools in a small space because the spools are stored vertically on top of each other. It is therefore well suited to small to medium-sized warehouses.
Less damages to products
The spools are protected from damage and dust, as they are stored inside the carousel. The carousel’s rotation mechanisms allow the wires to be stored safely without the risk of them falling. For more fragile products, this can lead to a reduction in losses and waste of products.
